Today we take a long way back to the past. This is Saint Louis Square in 1882. It really has changed a lot but the church is still the same.

As I've been ill for the past few days I have no new pictures to show you right now. Plus I won't be in Grenoble on Monday and Tuesday (going to the mountains to breathe some fresh air!). So I'll be posting some old postcards from Grenoble until the end of the year.
So here is the first one in a series of 3.

This is the intersection of Gambetta Bd and Alsace Lorraine Boulevard in 1910. Next week, I'll try to show you what is looks like today.

Firecrackers.

During the Snow Games, a few rock'n'roll bands also performed on a huge stage, just by the big air ramp. Among them, were the Firecrackers, another excellent band from Grenoble. So here is a little picture. You can see the others on my website www.nevermindthename.com.

Winter's comming fast here in Grenoble and at the moment takes place an interesting event called "Jeux de Neige 2008" (Snow games 2008). A huge snow park has been built in Paul Mistral Park. Different activities are available until saturday.
Newt week I show you all the pics from the event but for now, I wish you all a nice week-end.
