Saturday night out

A view from what we could name the "Italian district" of Grenoble : Quai Perrière and Marius Gontard Bridge.

Est ce fleuve appelé le rivière Isère. J'essaye de me rappeler le quand j'étais à Grenoble en 1998. J'ai conduit là au temps de nuit, même que votre photo, mais il pleuvait. Merci des mémoires gentilles.

Madamoiselle,
Thank you for confirming that fact. I drove in one day , from Toulouse, through Gaillac, Albi, Rodez, Mende, Privas to Valence. Somewhere along that road was the highest road bridge I had ever seen. I wish I could remember it's name and where it was. It became dark towards Moirans and the Autoroute had no lights on it. That was terrifying in the rain and I was happy to arrive in Grenoble.
Perhaps you can think what that viaduc was called, for me. (I did not travel through Millau)

Quelle belle lumière! J'apprécie d'autant plus que mes pauvres essais de photos nocturnes sont toujours nuls!

M.benaut> That was a very long drive you took that day! All the way from Toulouse to Grenoble! Do you remember if the viaduc was closer to Valence or Toulouse. I think of a viaduc near Valence, on the highway. It's called VIADUC DE L'ISERE (Copy the following link to see a picture of it : http://fr.structurae.de/photos/index.cfm?JS=27825)

Freelancer & Terra Vecchia > do you prefer it to be the moon or a star that has escaped from my eyes? You choose!

Mademoiselle,
Thank you for doing that research for me. The bridge was west of Valence, perhaps between Privas and Mende. I am sorry, but my French is so poor, I am having trouble navigating the Site. If you have the time, can you reply at Adelaide DP ?
Merci beaucoup.
