Theme day : Men at work.

Not very glamorous, but essential! This guy is working to improve the sanitation of the town (there must be a specific word for that but I can't figure out what it is...help needed there).

I must say that I initially wanted to post a photo of a cobbler. But a few days ago I was forced to wake up because of an enormous racket. It was the sound of the truck of that guy, right in front of my window. There was no chance I can go back to sleep, so I grabbed my camera and here he is...

The color in your photo is very good. I really like the contrast of grays to the base color in the safety cones and his gloves ... On a related note, when in college on of my jobs was a sanitation engineer. A more accurate description for my job would have been trash man.

Very nice color there! It almost makes what is surely a dreary job seem bright.

What luck!! Dave and I have made a reservation to live in a private home in "Le Mure" which is very close to Grenoble for five weeks from mid Msay to midd June. We will use the home for a base and travel by car all over the adjacent areas. Our plan is to spend at least a week discovering Grenoble which we loved when we visited for a day last year. Then we were based in Morzine. I am going to rely on your blog to make a list of places to see. My email: Jwp3937@Yahoo.com. Love to hear from you. Johnny

Le theme n'est pas original mais par contre le traitement est vraiment magnifique. J'aime beaucoup ce contraste et ces equilibres de couleurs.

You and Eric in Paris chose the same for today. This man must have known you needed a "Men at work" photo and so awakened you to get it. ; )

Amazing photo!! How do you add only colors to the cones while everything in B&W? Does Photoshop do that??
