Ossip Zadkine.

On the foreground, you can see a sculpture called "Le Fauve" by Ossip Zadkine, an artist born in Smolensk (Russia) in 1890.
After attending the polytechnic and the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London, he came to Paris in 1909 (where he died in 1967). He worked as a freelance artist and took part in the "Salon des Indépendants" for the first time in 1911 and one year later joined the cubists.

In the background, the third painting is "La Femme au col blanc" by Amedeo Modigliani.

What's not to love about a museum. Inspiring to any artist. Love it. Merci.

There is a small Zadkine museum in Paris (the place he used to live). I often passed in front of it, but never went inside. This reminds me that I now have to really visit it!
