MC2.

Officialy opened by André Malraux in 1968, the Maison de la Culture (litteraly House of Culture) has been totally requalified and it has re-opened in 2004, after years of huge work. The architect who was in charge of this project is called Antoine Stinco. He has kept the originel building, designed by André Wogenscky, and has added his personal touch.
Due to the very peculiar shape of the building, we, inhabitants of Grenoble, are used to calling it the Cargo boat.
For my part, I really like this building. I find the outside very original, beautiful and symbolic. The interior is also remarkable, with its wooden public studios and its perfect acoustic qualities.
I you ever come to Grenoble, I'd advise you to go and see a concert or a play there.

If you want me to take picture of specific places in Grenoble or near, your suggestion are very welcomed!

Peut-être nous pouvons entendre "Les Musiciens du Louvre" quand nous visitons votre belle ville et la Maison de la Culture de Grenoble.
