It looks like a clock face & maybe it's reflections? Of course I don't see any "hands."

Bleeding Orange, you take really really good pictures. Often you take shots from unusual angles. The way you focus attention on the subject by making the background black and white is really cool. As a matter of interest, what camera do you use?

paul> thanx for your comment. Concerning the camera I use, well it depends. Most of the time its a Nikon D200 digital camera.
But I sometimes post photos taken with an argentic camera as well(those from the outside of the art museum for instance).

Ah, I see, film - the art museum photo "One last post about it" was one of those with the unusual angle that I was refering to.

Wow-this is a puzzle! I would have to say some type of interior light fixtures-not skylights though.
Can't wait for the answer tomorrow!

Come on, It's UFOs!

Well seriously, it's could be a fountains. (Most likely a skylight as others saying, but because of this, I will go another path.)

This is stunning Photo, by the way.
I'm in process of purchasing D200 right now. Next week or so, I will go local shop (I tried few shots there) to negotiate price.
